Have you ever wanted to help a specific basset, but you just didn't know how? Now's your opportunity! Through our "Georgia Peach" program, BHRG has made it possible for you to "virtually adopt" a homeless hounds until he/she finds a forever home.
Some hounds will be in long-term foster care because of a medical need, while others have behavior or age issues that make finding their forever homes a real challenge. And some bassets will be adopted quickly.
By making a $25 per month financial commitment to the basset, you help offset the costs of keeping a basset in foster care. Vet expenses, collars, tags, heartworm preventative, and flea & tick preventative are expenses each basset incurs.
If you choose to be a part of the program, you'll receive confirmation via e-mail so that you know that we have received your commitment. We'll post a brief dedication, your name, and hometown in honor of your "virtual adoption" if you so desire.
The only bassets not available for "virtual adoption" are those who have an "ADOPTION PENDING" next to their description. These bassets are spoken for and will be going to a forever family soon.
