Bogey

Bogey is a red and white fellow who is around 8 years old. He visited a BHRG vet and now has a clean bill of health. Bogey has been such a joy in his foster home. He loves to sniff around outdoors, snooze, and get lots and lots of pets. He's friendly with the people and animals we pass on our walks and does well on a leash and harness. He may not enjoy the sound of thunder, but he's a great listener, whether you're asking him to return to you or just complaining about your day! He doesn't play much with toys but will never say no to a scratch behind the ears. Bogey would do best in a home with a yard he can explore and people who can love on him. He's a smiley sweetheart!

Rider

Rider is a tri-colored boy who was found as a stray in east Georgia. Here's what he has to say... "Rider here. I am a 4-year-old basset that loves to play and explore the world. I like having another dog to hang out with - especially one that would match my rough and tumble play style. I do have severe allergies and have to take medicine as well as take shots twice a week. I can be quite grumpy about them. I am slow to warm up to people and do not trust everyone but just give me time to get to know you and that I can trust you. While I can be moody and like my own space, there are times when I am an extreme snuggle bug and you can't keep me away."

Rider's Sponsors

  • Bruce Mlott - Peachtree Corners, GA. In loving memory of Doug and Happy.
  • Karin & Scott Samuel, Cumming, GA. In honor of Rufus & Lucy, in memory of Reagan (BHRG rescue 2004).
  • Todd, Paige, Kenzie, & Elijah Freeman - Macon, GA. In memory of our beloved Sunshine.
